it's still fuckin snowing

The worst part about cold weather is I walk my husky every morning at 5. I don’t mind getting up that early. It’s peaceful. But I hate the extra time I’m spending putting on long Johns and wool socks, which I struggle to fit into my snug boots. I’m sweaty and out of breath before I step outside, and I can hardly breathe in me snot-covered scheisty.

the ride in was cold enough to render the front and rear defrost largely ineffective, this morning

we got between 16-18 inches of snow. amazingly it started early sunday morning (2-3am) and when i woke up to walk the pooch we had about 5-6 inches already in a 6 hour span.

took forever to dig out my driveway as the snow plow that runs through our section blocked us all in

Ice is gone and I didn't bust my ass a single time. New record!

this weather sucks

my upstairs furnace has a condensation drip line to the outside which froze

started putting the furnace into safety mode bc couldnt drain

now i gotta have the plumbing guys come and re-route the drain into the sump pit

gonna have to open up a wall in the basement

damn you jack frost!

this is a nice / different plumber fortunately

not the guy that did my toilets and insisted on discussing charlie kirk

this guy instead is normal / nice

although he might have just given me covid

it's cold

also, the icicles on the hanging off the roof are impressive

I thinks its 4 degrees here in nyc..went to get an egg and cheese on a roll across from the hotel..I may not leave the hotel today except for dinner reservations a block away tonight..forgot what this shit felt like..

Got six inches of snow here, very rare for this area. Gonna be inside for a while. We’re selling our House and were supposed to be having an open house today. Hopefully this weather doesn’t slow down the process too much.

I was walking around in a t-shirt yesterday. I hate that Colorado basically doesn’t have winter.

We bought the house we’re in now during a snow time. Then, we moved in a couple weeks later during the ice storm of ‘21.

i had an open house like 10 years ago for a townhouse i was selling

it was february and the back driveway was all iced over

regardless there were a lot of visitors, like 15-20 groups

great location

low supply area

i was certain we'd get multiple offers

instead we only got one - and it was kinda weak and sus

the parking was behind the propery via an easement with the building next door. we had the right to use their driveway to get over to ours. but there had been a big nasty storm and they would never shovel properly, so it was all iced over. it looked like shit and made it hella difficult to get in. realtor was like: everyone had bad feedback a out the driveway. i was like: dude it's the fuckin' middle of february and there is ice everywhere what do you want me to do!

Weirdly we have a snow shovel in the garage. No idea where it came from.
