Overall this felt like almost nothing and it ends at what feels like is midseason?
It labours the same points over and over and over. Far too much for what it delivered in the end such as it is.
Ten episodes for really only three plot points. To call them storylines would be really exaggerating things
Frustrating stuff as a whole in the end. It doesn’t feel whole at all.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

They filmed seasons 3&4 at the same time and you watched all of S3 in less than a day, so maybe cut them a
little slack?
Heard they actually didn’t? Filming doesn’t commence until this winter?
Wouldn’t change the story here though.

What would they know? Cast members have said they’re not back filming til end of the year.
Sure some of it was done maybe. They had little else to do going by contents of season 3

I have not watched yet so I am treading lightly in this thread but the time frame from the announcement of the full season drop in June (early February) was made before the actual filming for it commenced. It seems filming did start in late February but that is a bit of pressure in my opinion. Sometimes that pressure yields great returns, other times not so much.
Personally I don't care for full season drops, I like a week to let things simmer in my brain and really only watch an episode at a time anyway but avoiding spoilers isn't always easy.
Plan is to start tomorrow evening and we shall see but I am looking forward to it.

It still does what it does well when it comes to the human stories but overall just doesn’t feel like it has a plan or know what it’s doing. Much like the bear itself ?
Come back anyways. Looking forward to seeing what you and everyone else thinks.

I loved the new season’s premiere. That’s how you use a Trent and Atticus song.

Episode one down. Holy smokes, it's all so heavy. And so beautifully shot. Seeing Olivia Colman again was a "fuck yeah!" moment. She's incredible.

And yeah, that was Reznor/Atticus at their best, in both execution and application.
