Read through Alive before. I was also surprised by the "never vote Republican" lyric in Even Flow. I will have to listen to that version and some live versions to see if I hear this.

it's clever to be vague on some things, to heighten the necessity for a lucrative second edition.

Hey, my copy of the book arrived! It's almost 10 months after the order was placed, but I get that there were a a great deal of logistical issues at play, so I can't complain. I look forward to reading through it and I'm glad my early chapter reads were so helpful for Stip and B — I even see my name listed in the acknowledgments. Congratulations again to both writers for being able to get this thing off the ground and out into the world.
