What I find interesting about the later responses to CK is this demand for a public apology and complaints that he didn't use the word apologize in his public statement. To me, that seems unnecessary. He doesn't owe anyone besides those victimized and his family an apology and maybe in some sense a public apology actually diminishes the private apologies.
