yes, in hiding is kinda perfect (and stip has shamed his family name for generations to come).

Love In Hiding. It helps makes SVT a stand out documentary about the band.

I love that section of SVT. And I love that performance of the song quite a bit more than I love listening to the album version these days. Ultimately for me it’s a really great song to hear a couple times a year.

this is not my favourite PJ album, but it is my favourite 1-2-3 punch: I love how the tempos gradually slow between Brain of J > Faithfull > No Way

If an alien came down and demanded to know what Pearl Jam was all about, but I was limited to only sharing one studio album with them, that album would be Yield.

The answer is clearly Vitalogy.

Agreed. I mean, I know we are all snobby PJ hipsters here, but c'mon.

I'd give them that excellent playlist the 'utlimate' polls just produced.

Ten doesn't come close to displaying the breadth and range of their abilities as performers or songwriters, though. Vs. is closer since it's got songs like "Daughter," "WMA," and "Elderly Woman," but I think it's true that Vitalogy is the truest representative of the whole Pearl Jam package in a single album.

I definitely agree that if someone had never heard a PJ song and wanted an entryway, I'd give them Yield. In addition to just being great songs, it covers a lot of what they do while remaining accessible, and also never feeling like they're writing certain song just to check off that stylistic box.
