Yeah, that was a boring one. It felt like the whole momentum came to a screeching halt.

maybe boring action wise, but i found the situation put forth fascinating. i always like it when they delve into the post-apocalyptic hierarchy stuff best.

At least we now know what happened to Beth. I don't think this will take long to resolve - assuming the timeline is consistant with what was happening with the main group. Carol will get out those that want to leave and that's who'll show up at the church with Daryl

So the potential end point to this show has just been outed as bullshit? Fuck me - this is going to go on forever

That dude smelled of bullshit the minute they introduced him I'm surprised they let it go this long or none of the other characters called him on a

Isn't that the idea of the comic book? That there is no end and the story just keeps going?
I know they can't do that with the series obviously but I can't see it ending optimistically and neatly either.

I've not read the comics - but they can just keep dragging this out. I'm still interested for now, but if it's just the same shit effectively over and and over i can't see this holding my interest for much longer

group gets separated, groups run into other mean nasty human groups and zombie hordes, good groups defeat bad groups and reunite with one shocking death at the season finale. Repeat.

also, black people get killed on this show more than white people at a ratio of 3:1

That just means they get to hire new ones at that same 3:1 ratio.

It's the too many Bobs per capita rule. Introduce new black priest, Bob had to go.

I can only think of 3 - Patricia in Season 1, T-Dog in Season 3, Bob in Season 5. A lot more white characters have died - Shane, Lori, Mearle, Dale, Hershel, Lizzie, Sophia, Andrea, Axel.
