I just wanted to isolate this to comment about how it's probably my second favorite thing to happen during W's presidency, probably only behind the Red Sox winning the World Series.

I rank the Red Sox winning the World Series right below 9/11, but above Revenge of the Sith.

You realize I said "favorite" and not "least favorite," right?

No comedian doing an impression of a president has ever been as funny as that moment. You can't invent something that great.

If Bush had knee-slid under lasers after that line, he'd have been made dictator for life. And well-earned.

My wife reminds me that this guy also almost choked to death on a pretzel while he was the most powerful man on earth.

These things, taken out of context, can almost make one a bit nostalgic. Like when a really funny but dumb show you don't admit to watching gets cancelled.

This echoes something I asked in another thread but I'm again left wondering what sort of news outlets you guys go to.

And are you all taking the piss with these candidates? They're each of them unelectable for varying degrees of awful.

Sadly, no. Though one positive of this campaign season is that a few of these guys have at least stopped speaking in coded language, so the soul of that party is laid bare

You know, on reflection (and because I'm back home and still have the tabs open), it's curious how they work this out seeing I said I supported strict gun control, single payer health care, same sex marriage, pro-choice on abortion, etc.

There's no doubt I'm relatively conservative in most respects but US politics is strange and bewildering.
I did this again when I had more time to answer.

Clinton (76%)
Sanders (76%)
Bush (71%)

Who the hell knows.
