Very nice Strat!

There was clearly something in the air this week because I’m currently waiting on this to be delivered:

(Sorry Wease, I had to bail on that Les Paul to swing it.)

ha!! Yes!

What model is that?

Im absolutely loving this guitar thus far. Still trying to find the sweet spots. I love the neck pickup. Its so brittle yet full. Quite ferocious and tender at the same time. Its so rock n roll. The Middle pickup is everything though. Creamy tight goodness.

Feels great too. I can't stop looking at it.

Bloody love Telecasters. I'm partial to the dude from Gojira's signature model.

It's a USA 1952 reissue, made in 2017.

Excellent. Mine too. Still need to check on year made. Will do that tomorrow.

Mine is the butterscotch blonde. I went back and forth on which I wanted ...

The neck pickup is wild. Such a different zone tonaly speaking.

Neck Pickup: Crazy how much the volume drops and how neutered it becomes. I kind of dig it.

Also, i've read that upgrading any tele with these pickups is a sure bet:

That’s pretty sweet. Interestingly, back in the day my dad traded his ‘74 LP standard for a Tele just like that one. (Don’t know the vintage, tho. Probably 70s, but don’t know). Then, when I started playing he traded the Tele for my ‘78 LP Custom

Just never got one. I’ve got an overdrive pedal that sounds good, but I think the tube screamer just adds that special something that I like.

Tube Screamer-type* pedals don’t work for me; my Marshall has plenty of midrange already, it just sounds honky and weak.

(* I haven’t owned an actual Tube Screamer but have tried variations on that circuit, e.g. the Maxon OD-820.)

I haven’t yet found a better sounding and feeling overdrive for me than the Crowther Hotcake but I don’t know how well it suits Fender amps.

The picture isn’t working for me, ‘wad.

Finally got mine earlier today; only had a brief chance to play but it sounded and felt great.

Looks awesome man. I’m a huge Black Crowes/Rich Robinson fan and he’s always had that butterscotch Tele close at hand. It’s gorgeous.

Reissue, I believe it’s a circa 2007 or thereabouts.

Looks great, I like the white finish - I haven't seen that very often on Deluxes.

Oh my god why did it take me so long to get this guitar? It is everything i've ever wanted in a guitar. So versatile and so beautiful.

The clean tones are magnificent, a little overdrived boost is everything i'd want in a rhythm guitar, and punching it up with more overdrive for lead tone is so crisp clear and somewhat violent. The bridge pickup and middle pickup are to die for.

I love this thing.

That's great, I'm loving mine too - particularly the neck pickup, actually.
