Unfortunately it doesn't look like we'll be able to say that for the next Planet of the Apes movie

Woody Harrelson confirmed to play Garris Shrike in the stand alone film.

http://www.traileraddict.com/article...haracter-name/

Garris first appeared in A.C. Crispin’s novel The Paradise Snare, (check out that beautiful Drew Struzan cover art above)," started Sciretta. "The character was a bounty hunter-turned smuggler who raised the orphaned Han Solo as part of a group of children he used in confidence tricks and thefts, based aboard the decommissioned troopship Trader’s Luck in orbit over Corellia. Shrike rescued the young Han Solo from the streets, raised him, trained him, and beat him profusely when aggravated.”

I hope Woody bases his character on Archie Bunker

This has been widely debunked today Joey.
A million fan sites ran with it. Woody doesn't even know who the character is.
And Pablo said it's not him.

Welp... I was just reporting stuff I'd seen on other sites.

I don't really care who he's playing. Woody's involvement has done nothing to excite me for this movie.

Though, can you show me where this is debunked? Because I just did a quick Google search and this is still being reported by every outlet as recently as 3 hours ago.

In my reading today something like 90% of Star Wars fans, me included, don't know who Garris Shrike even is.

Pablo's reply to this is the only thing that seems to confirm that he ISN'T playing the guy all the reports are reporting that he's playing. So, I'll go with that. The other thing you posted has no context and I can't follow that thread at all so I have no idea what I'm supposed to get out of that.

Damned eu. Wish it would die already.

In fact all the lunatic EU fans, the ones that sent death threats to people at lucasfilm etc are once again up in arms over the title, screaming about them cherry picking.
Make up your minds fellas. You want them to include EU or you don't.

(The last Jedi is the title of a frankly awful EU book)
