Did the Stones do three shows? I feel like somebody had to when they first started doing concerts at Fenway.

i'm only seeing 2-night shows on setlist.fm, but don't know how complete that is

the Mighty Mighty Bosstones did a 2-night stand there in 20-fucking-11

the Bosstones opened for the Dropkick Murphys, and that was a unique stage setup where it was essentially the bleachers and the right field grandstand were the only seats sold (so the stage was facing the opposite direction of where it normally does)

For Boston, $40 per ticket is a Fenway fee. That's a ton.

I think I'm officially done seeing this band live. I won't spend 125 a ticket on anyone. Sucks, though, this was going to be my son's first concert.

It's steep. I'm not looking forward to my wife seeing this particular bill.

The price of tickets has skyrocketed this decade. 250/pair is very much in line with what similar bands charge for similar venues. Guns n' Roses, Metallica and U2 tickets are all going to be in that range, and all three of those bands charge substantially more for the best seats.

I totally get that some people don't see it as an expense that they can stomach - shit, it's a 25 percent increase from just two years ago. But, that's basically the new normal for live events.

So travel all the way out to Montana to see us, and pay 250 for a pair of Tix!?

what a joke. are stadium shows in general (no matter what band) more expensive due to other fees that an arena or theater might not have?

probably true, but none of those bands really put forth a "we care about our fans" image more than PJ
