I know next to nothing about The Germs. Pretty much the name and that’s it. What happened with them?

Doing drugs in Bogota is extra risky due to the high altitude. 9,000 feet. Especially with a 50 year old ticker that’s already endured lots of abuse.

Feel terrible for his kids. RIP.

I've never seen them. They're playing Jazzfest here in another month, and that was going to be my first time. Obviously not the main point here though.

The Foos at some point along the way morphed from Dave's thing into something that felt like Dave and Taylor's thing. I know he wasn't there at the beginning, but he became such an integral piece for them that it felt like he was there from the very start. And just the wide array of musicians posting tributes to him seems to indicate how great of a person he was.
i saw ll cool j and one of the backstreet boys posted tributes in additional to pretty much everyone in rock n roll.

i never saw them either. and honestly, i think the cover's taylor sang on were the only reason i would have seen them. the dude was super entertaining and obviously has great taste in music.

the cause of death is super sad. it's crushing that this happened again.

I can’t even wrap my mind around that. Like… how in the world could he possibly have expected to function? I can’t imagine.
