Today I ate a huge plate of beef and vermicelli about 20 minutes before a two mile run and slowed down by a whole half minute. Yikes.

20 mins isn't nearly long enough to let a meal sit. Good work getting out there though.

did really good today considering I’ve barely ran the last few weeks, plus i was playing around with my pace a bit

i never run in the morning, but woke up feeling fresh so gave it a go…did 5k in 29:40 which I’m happy with
tried to do really specific paces and finish strong…ended up doing the first two miles faster than planned, but my third mile was much better than normal so really it worked out ideally

I rarely run in the A.M. but am always glad I did when it does happen. Wakes you up and clears up your day.

if i keep falling asleep too early i may have to consider doing it more often….here and there I’ll go around 8 or 9am on the weekends
