I have four pairs of dead Bostons sitting under the work bench in my basement. I don't know what to do with them. I think fleet feet recycles dead shoes but not sure if covid killed that.

The bayou was humid, stagnant and bug-ridden today. Perfect conditions for a suffer sprint.

Sunday: 4.63 miles in 57:35
Monday: 4.11 miles in 48.31
Haven't gotten out there in a while, pretty sore today but feel great. There were some big hills and a lot of walking. Going to try to keep it up this time.

Thanks pal. I'm going to go as often as I can and try not to quit for a long period like I so often do. Too sore to go today, though. Will most likely tomorrow. I really feel so much better when keeping a running routine. I think I would fail because of the mentality of just not feeling like I have it in me, too sore, etc., but this time around I'm going with the mindset that if I'm not feeling like it then that's precisely why I need to. It's all state of mind and once I get started I always find the energy.

I'm going to try keeping it more fresh this time and not getting disappointed in having to walk for lengths. As long as I'm pushing myself, keeping heart rate up, I'm doing well for now. And with big hills, briskly walking isn't bad at all.

it’s a given that i have to walk so don’t feel bad at all…when I’ve tried to just jog at a slightly slower pace and walk less my times are always worse…but like you said just keep pushing

Let's run together this evening, westwardly away from the 86th longitude and toward forever.

Bought a pair of Altras to add to the rotation with the Hokas. Will minimalism wreck my delicate feet? Stay tuned.
