Are cinemas where you guys live showing the original trilogy in the run up to FA?

Seems all the Main cinemas here have been told they can't by Disney.

You'd have thought they'd rerelease them even for one off showings in the run up

Could be saving re-releases of the OT for anniversaries. We're only a little more than a year away from 40 years.

Though they are gonna be hitting us what, twice a year? With new films?

AMC and Regal I know are doing a marathon for all the movies. AMC says The Phantom Menace starts at 1 am leading up to Force Awakens at 7 pm.

Well if people are gonna be queueing up all night outsid you might as well do screenings like that.

It'd be overload for me personally.

If only Lucas had trusted someone enough to tell him no, this is all bollox. These scenes are embarrassingly bad

I also thought the "Exiled to Dagobah" scene would have been fine in the movie.
