i was on a roll the past year or so with keeping up with new music, more obscure new music, discovering older music. but over the past 4-5 weeks, it's like all of that just vanished, and i've just been listening to Built To Spill and The Clash.

trying to keep up with music feels like a full-time job these days. and can become exhausting.

Yeah, I feel that too. Sometimes I find a band and I'm like "I gotta hear it all!" and then I listen to too much of their stuff all at once.

I never got the hate for AC, but most of their stuff would probably make me cringe now. I still play some of the deep cuts from Merriweather now and then. That album is like Kid A to me. When it came out, it was alien and inaccessible but endlessly fascinating the more time I spent with it, to the point that now it sounds conventional.

other than a couple catchy/decent tunes, ac/dc is a really bad band
