Scenario A has it being an amazing film that the following two films will never top and what's the point in continuing yet scenario B has it being the same or worse than the prequels and reeking of beating a dead horse cash grab and you spend a life of regret hating it and yourself for ranting about it online (vinyl guy/chud ahoy)
So in either scenario death is probably a welcome option.
