I got a little weepy that shot of Luke I’m not gonna lie.

Also
Spoiler: show
Almost certain we’re being misdirected with Rey v Luke. I’d say they’re shots cut from Kylo&KOR attacking them.

Seeing Luke in the Falcon I can't help but wonder... will we see him leave Ahch-To? Or is he just touring the ship as it's docked there?

Spoiler: show
Well Rey's mission is centered around getting Luke to join the resistance. So maybe that's a shot of him leaving Acho-To? Also, Rey isn't in that shot which makes me think that shot is toward the end of the film.

Pretty cool to see Luke in that spacecraft, but would be cooler to see him in an X-wing.

guessing she either leaves with or is captured by Kylo. This forces Luke to leave and thats him we see piloting the falcon on Crait. Has to mean we see a reunion with Leia. It’s all I want to see in this film. The rest is gravy.

Would have said after the almost rapey interrogation in TFA there’s no chance. Now I’m beginning to wonder.

I'm not not excited, just cautious. I just don't want them not to take risks just to keep it appealing to the masses.

Wait... ? Huh?

Doesn't taking risks, by definition, mean they won't be appealing to the masses? Isn't that exactly the thing people criticize The Force Awakens about the most? Playing it safe and "remaking" A New Hope, and taking risks can't both be appealing to the masses, right?

I don't even know what I was trying to say. Just that TFA felt very safe to me, like after the prequel debacle, they didn't want to do anything to piss off anyone any further. I guess I just don't want another "safe" movie is all. I'll be super excited for it by December, I'm sure.
