Apparently it's got enough oxygen for 96 hours. It's designed to float back to surface if anything goes wrong, so the theory right now is that it's caught in something or it imploded and sank.

I saw a picture of the vessel. It's fucking tiny. If they're trapped and oxygen runs out... man. What a way to die.

The weirdest outcome would be if these people on the sub are found alive and someone explains to them that they were a meme and everyone wanted them dead.

You think they’ve got any pro series controllers lying around that they can sell to cover court costs?

Some asshole already did a well akshually on that. (Photonics mast on a US military sub using Xbox controller) that does not demonstrate this is a good use case.

every time I see articles about this it reminds of an old bill maher joke from many years ago..something like if you opened up the morning paper or turned on the news and saw that hundreds of thousands of kids were being molested at jiffy lube stores I'm pretty sure you'd stop taking your car there at that very moment...yet you drag your kids out of bed at age 8 on a Sunday morning and take them to church

How crazy would it have been if NASA had blown up Big Bird in front of the whole nation?

We should start a thread for news like this. Call it "not worthy of a thread news" or something similar.

If this isn't worthy of a thread then I don't know what is
