It's really unfortunate the Warriors don't face a challenge until the WCF. They'll blow through the Clippers without Curry without much problem.

Too bad the Thunder didn't fall to the 4 seed.

I know what you are saying (considering Paul's injury), but they did earn the number one seed and that has its advantages.

I understand your point. I guess it goes to show you the regular season does matter.

I can see the Thunder/Spurs going one of two ways...

-Thunder just fall apart and lose in 5 games due to undisciplined defense, odd rotations, and predictable offensive sets.
-It is a competitive series that goes 7 games.

Either way, I am very excited to watch Leonard guard Durant for several games in a row.

I'll be rooting for Russ to be amazing and maybe shut people up for at least a little while. But I also want the Warriors to lose and obviously the Spurs have the best shot of knocking them off, so I'm a little conflicted.

What do you think of Bosh's recent comments?

Oh man, the Bosh thing is crazy. It's obviously been festering behind the scenes. He wrote that letter back about 6 weeks ago where he basically said he was fine and would play this year and the Heat "no commented" it. I mean it's so tough to know what's happening, but I guess Bosh has had several doctors say he's fine and can play, but the Heat aren't having it. Is it a liability concern? Health concern? Basketball concern? What to do in free agency concern? It's really crazy.


Also, Charlotte is going to win by at least 15 tonight.

I can't see it as a on court thing with Bosh. I mean he's really good. Hoping that he is forced to retire so they can get him off the books and have insurance pick up the tab seems far fetched. I gotta think the Heat doctors have legit concerns. I mean they clear him and something happens and he dies? Can you imagine the fallout?

I shouldn't say "effort", they played mostly great d down the stretch. Charlotte just hit stupid shots and lee got another stupid long rebound at the end.

And apparently Miami has never run an offensive play ever based on the last two minutes. Just awful.

You're probably right, but the team has certainly appeared to be better without him. (Personally, I think there are other things that happened at the same time--Joe Johnson's arrival and Josh Richardson's emergence giving us 3 point shooting that we lacked all year--that provide more of the reason.) But there are legitimate concerns about playing Bosh and Whiteside together. It just doesn't seem like it worked. Then there's Deng, who has thrived at the 4 since Bosh left but was quite underwhelming at the 3. Both Deng and Whiteside are free agents so there are important decisions to be made about guys who are possibly more useful to us without Bosh than with him.

But it probably is the liability, I agree. Apparently Bosh endorses Xarelto and they have over 3,000 lawsuits pending and are implicated in deaths of people who got normal cuts and simply couldn't stop bleeding, so I don't blame the organization for being cautious.

Also, it looked like Wade chest bumped the ref after the brutal no-call on Miami's last possession. I didn't hear the commentators say anything about it, but I wonder if he could be suspended for game 6 because of that.

I thought the same thing. It was difficult to see much in the replays they showed of the play and after it.
