I remember something like this being done before, but I've just listened to this playlist with headphones.

Sometimes
Of The Girl
Low Light
Cold Confession
Otherside
Footsteps
Long Nights
Pendulum
Yellow Moon
Sleight Of Hand
Around The Bend
All Or None

Yep.

I like Pendulum but the studio version is kind of a misfire for me.

:nice: all of that, I'd add SBM to the return list. I honestly can't figure out why Pendulum does nothing for me. It's their exact style/sound that I usually prefer.
I'd listen to a whole album of Pendulum/Cold Confession/Of The Girl type songs from this band.
That's the dream, Judd. That's the dream.
I like those songs a lot but if they zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Add me to the unlucky ones...

I got my 10c one yesterday. Cover was in decent shape with the exception of a slash down the middle of the inner part of the gate fold, and a split in the album sleeve, which I don't l like, but can accept because I understand shit happens during shipping.

The album itself skips on Getaway, has pops pretty much throughout the whole album... Emailed 10c to let them know... Now to play the waiting game again...

Anybody heard from 10c about this yet? Sorry, I'm just feeling too lazy to shift through the thread. hahah

 What a great interview! My favorite LB-related piece of literature I've read yet.

As long as Stone is in this band (and Jeff too), Pearl Jam will be a band worthy of my attention.
Stone is the man. He has, by far, the most interesting an insightful things to say in these interviews.
It's just too bad his songwriting contributions have been diminished so much in recent years.

Considering the emergence of Ament on the latest record I'm okay whit a little less Stone for a little more Jeff.

at this point I don't really listen to the record straight through, I just listen to the good tracks individually. I pump pretty much all of em, except lightning bolt, records play and future days and most of the time I skip swallowed whole I find myself slipping most of the time too.

I think you might need to try again. It needs a little more 'oomph'.

Wandered into one of the local music stores this afternoon - just curious to see if they'd had any complaints about the vinyl, and it turns out they haven't even received their shipment of the vinyls yet. They got a notification or something that they were going to be a week late, but it was released here on the 11th - so there appears to be some sort of bigger delay going on.

that infallible was not the breakout song of this record still surprises me

It really could've been; it had the biggest chance. Trouble is, it was never going to please everyone because it's mostly based on the foundations of a Riot Act groove. If it had followed that inclination completely (as many of us wanted it to), it would've turned off those who were looking for melody / pop / anthem, whatever you want to call it. But as it is, it's turned off a few people for abandoning what's established in the verses.

And I'm only really listening to yellow moon, pendulum, mfs and SbM. Yellow moon the most somehow, even though there's parts of it that make me :shake:

Infallible rips the balls off everything else on this album. And does so violently. With a 'poppy' sound.
