I would not at all be surprised to see Episodes 1-3 remade in our lifetime. I highly doubt 4-6 get remade in our lifetime. Or ever, really.

LotR is different. I could see someone wanting to offer a different interpretation of the material within our lifetime.

Someone did a chronological supercut a couple of days ago containing most of the released footage. It was a little over 4 minutes.

It FEELS like a lot, but it probably isn't. It has been very good at not giving away on plot, while alluding to themes.
