BB is a lot faster-paced and more intense, so I understand why most people prefer it. BCS is more nuanced and measured, which suits me, but can be a little frustrating when you're watching week-to-week. Overall, I also prefer BCS by a lot. I do think the show benefits from streaming all the episodes at one's own leisure rather than waiting a week between eps, you get to really soak in all the character moments and thematic exploration without growing impatient. Especially during a specific stretch in season 4...
While this is 100% true, it's not why I prefer BCS. It's simply the characters. Saul, Kim, Nacho, and Chuck are all much more interesting to me.

BB was undoubtedly awesome, but some of the characters choices were highly suspect to me, some really big swings that didn't always ring as true. Everyone in BCS seems so realistic to me. There's a believability in how they navigate their choices that wasn't present in BB.
Well put.
Indeed. Bravo, trag.

Also it is so much prettier. Rewatching BB after BCS, the former feels so much grittier and slapdash, whereas BCS has a way more carefully considered visual identity. A lot of really elegant wide shots you'd never see in BB. I'm very glad Netflix has it in 4K

I'm almost done with S1. She isn't even the best character on the show right now, let alone all of tv history. I don't know what's coming down the pike but it's gonna have to be spectacular for your statement to be true. Even if you're most joking, a lot is gonna have to happen to make the hyperbole worth it.

You have so much to learn. She's far and wide the best character on the show. I've not heard anyone that has watched it all say otherwise. It's quite a consensus.

Best on tv ever? I don't know. Best in the BB/BCS universe? there's no question.

I love Kim but I don't think she's the best character in the show

Ok. There's ONE person who doesn't think so.

I'm assuming he thinks Howard is.

Right now Jimmy, Chuck, and Mike are vastly superior characters. But like I said I haven't even finished season one yet. There's a lot of show to go.

If we're going to expand this to include BB, then Kim isn't even top 5.

But I'm excited to see what happens and find out what makes her such a unanimously beloved character. That's exciting!
