That's certainly part of it. One had tried to speed away from a traffic stop for the second time in 24 hours, shot at the police, disobeyed commands to surrender, jumped out of his car and fled, they tried to taser him and that didnt work, then he went suicide by cop. The other was a person of interest at the time and did not resist when stopped (though they did have a short low speed car chase). They did not know he was the shooter at the time, versus someone who had literally shot at them a few minutes beforehand.

I'm not really sure when running away from the police became suicide by cop.

Otherwise, you did a great job of making the mass murder sound like a gentleman, and the black Uber driver sound like a mass murder.

i was at the other end of the city watching camden's fireworks when this happened. a ton of cops drove by where I was watching the fireworks and I assumed there was a shooting, but I didn't think it would have happened by the festival. it sounds like it was someone shooting into the air in celebration, so Philly probably won't have a mass shooting for a couple months. someone was also shot in philly earlier that day closer to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, hotspot for tourists. not a great look.

Yeah not my first urban cowboy experience, but pretty surreal to see a horse gallop down the block while the background is all sirens, helicopters, and explosions.

I don’t know the 2A language but I tend to agree with this as far as it doesn’t specify which you can and can’t have.

Unfortunately the current Crazy Court™ will tell you that their reading of the 2nd Amend. is that any gun the military has should be allowed among citizens to protect against a tyrannical government trying to rule said citizens by force. The Crazy Court™ also says that citizens "keeping and bearing arms" now means on their person whenever and wherever they go. Because of tyranny, guys, tyrants are coming for you!

This reading of the 2nd that focuses on these two points but completely skips over the "well regulated militia" component is why I've trademarked Crazy Court. Because they're crazy, guys. The tyrants are coming from inside the house!

The Constitution does not give rights, it restricts the government from taking them away.
