No he didn't, and I don't even believe that you believe that.
No. That was hyperbole on my part.BurtReynolds wrote:No he didn't, and I don't even believe that you believe that.

If you all had even bothered to read the facts around the tragedy in Akron you would understand why the results are different.
how exactly didn't the tasers work?B wrote:I'm not really sure when running away from the police became suicide by cop.Bi_3 wrote:That's certainly part of it. One had tried to speed away from a traffic stop for the second time in 24 hours, shot at the police, disobeyed commands to surrender, jumped out of his car and fled, they tried to taser him and that didnt work, then he went suicide by cop. The other was a person of interest at the time and did not resist when stopped (though they did have a short low speed car chase). They did not know he was the shooter at the time, versus someone who had literally shot at them a few minutes beforehand.E.H. Ruddock wrote: Do you mean because the man in Akron fired at police? Otherwise, you did a great job of making the mass murder sound like a gentleman, and the black Uber driver sound like a mass murder.
Well that's not at all heartbreaking - that poor, poor kidbart wrote:

Starting to feel like we’re firmly in the gets worse before it gets better phase, assuming it does get better.

Yeah not my first urban cowboy experience, but pretty surreal to see a horse gallop down the block while the background is all sirens, helicopters, and explosions.warehouse wrote:i'm sure you've seen a dude on your block on horseback before lolMickey wrote:Two cops shot, shooter still at large. i was at the other end of the city watching camden's fireworks when this happened. a ton of cops drove by where I was watching the fireworks and I assumed there was a shooting, but I didn't think it would have happened by the festival. it sounds like it was someone shooting into the air in celebration, so Philly probably won't have a mass shooting for a couple months. someone was also shot in philly earlier that day closer to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, hotspot for tourists. not a great look.
I don’t know the 2A language but I tend to agree with this as far as it doesn’t specify which you can and can’t have.blueviper wrote:As a start:

Start banning some types of guns. 2nd amendment gives you the right to bear arms, it doesn’t say which ones.
