Uh, Empire. It introduced us to the Imperial March which is the best of the Star Wars songs.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I think they're all pretty equal.dimejinky99 wrote:Guys which film had the best score/soundtrack?

I really hope this happens. I think the story has / had potential to rival or surpass the original trilogy. I mean, no one really likes them anyway, right?durdencommatyler wrote:I would not at all be surprised to see Episodes 1-3 remade in our lifetime. I highly doubt 4-6 get remade in our lifetime. Or ever, really.dimejinky99 wrote:I wonder how long it will be before they remake things like Star Wars or Lord of the rings?
In our lifetime?

You gave us a cast of characters that we loved. We didn't give a shit about the spaceships, idiot. Is the Falcon, cool? Duh, but we don't give a shit about it if Han Solo isn't flying it. Are light sabers rad? You bet! But if it's not Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan or Vader wielding them, who gives a good goddamn? Leia doesn't have a neat-o pod-racer nor does she swing a saber and you know what? WE LIKE HER AND GIVE A SHIT WHAT HAPPENS TO HER.
Wanna know how I know it's about characters and not spaceships, George? Because you went back to the well and made three NEW movies about characters nobody liked or gave a shit about and then you went and filled the goddamn things with... you guessed it, FUCKING SPACESHIPS!
You went back into the originals and ADDED SPACESHIPS.
It's YOU George Lucas who has no clue what your movies are about. Don't try to throw your fans under the bus or condescend when you clearly don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Really? I think it could be a pretty big spoiler. At the least, it should give us an idea of what happened after the collapse of the Empire, and what has happened to Luke, Leia, and Han in the aftermath.durdencommatyler wrote:I'd love to read that. But I can't seem to find it. If someone does and they don't want to post it, feel free to PM me. I don't see how the opening crawl could possibly spoil anything for me.

It's literally going to be the first thing we see as the movie begins. That can hardly be considered a spoiler.darth_vedder wrote:Really? I think it could be a pretty big spoiler. I don't think I'd call that the best. "Binary Sunset", just to name one, strikes me as superior. Honestly, I'd probably even put "Duel of the Fates" above it. And certainly the main theme.darth_vedder wrote:Uh, Empire. The end credits main theme is still my favorite

I love the way the teasers/trailers do this..echoes and snips of score themes. Then bang! Into the main fanfare.stip wrote:The end credits main theme is still my favorite

Uh, well, if you read it NOW, it could have quite a few spoilers. I think it's rather obvious that once you are in the theater watching the film, it ceases to be a spoiler.LoathedVermin72 wrote:It's literally going to be the first thing we see as the movie begins. Duel of Fates sucks, but Binary Sunset is indeed good. The Imperial March is better than than the rest though.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I don't think I'd call that the best. Duel of Fates is the Fixer of Star Wars songs. The Imperial March is In My Tree.LoathedVermin72 wrote:lol wutdarth_vedder wrote:Duel of Fates sucks, but Binary Sunset is indeed good.
