My only gripe isn't really about the movie itself. Just that call and response Corduroy. One of the most fun songs live went to shit.

It's too late to tell you this, but it wasn't the song playing. There were names of songs in the credits that I've never heard of before. It was probably snippets and transitions in the film, so I can't tell you what they sound like.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Just got home from seeing this. I'd recommend going, it's a nice snippet based doco in between some well shot performances.

Yeah, I don't know how it lines up against the other films we've got, but it was definitely a fun movie with some great performances.

Do they talk to the band about the music? Like in Single Video Theory and Pearl Jam Twenty.

Why would anyone prefer to see a movie in dvd instead of a theatre?

Very little. There is a bit of their first show in Chicago, and they cut some footage of that show from the worst camcorder ever in with their new performance of Jeremy. That was pretty damn amazing. They don't talk much about the music, but they also don't spend a huge amount of time on the Cubs. The Cubs stuff is kind of an interlude to the performances.

I would think even a moderate Pearl Jam fan would regret skipping this in the theater.

Thank you. Don't think it will be shown in the cinema here, but I'll buy the blu-ray.

Saw it last night, theatre experience was great, loud and rockin, I think I like this the best of the stuff they have done movie or video wise. The movie really shows how Ed is the driving force in the band IMO, his love for his cubbies and having him finally be the front and vocal point of the band that he has fought not to be for so many years was pretty cool.

There is a great part on the roof top when Ed starts playing thumbing my way and with the year I have had, it just hit me hard.

Good to hear everyone has seemed to enjoy it. Will most likely pick up the Blu Ray at some point.

So wait, it IS mostly performance? What percentage of the film is watching Pearl Jam play and what percentage is talking about baseball?
