Yeah he was definitely up there in Dance, especially awesome after Dany goes missing.
But the crazier thing to me is that Jon’s pining for Ygritte is almost painfully storybook — and we all remember the last time Thrones gave us a storybook love affair, right? Prince Charming was shivved right in the heart. Best not to dwell too much on that, I think, as it doesn’t look like Jon’s in any real danger, at least not yet. (As with Jaime, the costume department isn’t going to invest in such a snug-fitting leather tunic only to have it ruined with sword slashes and arrow holes.)
No. Danny & Tyrion haven't met in the books.15showsandcounting wrote:How much story do the books really have left? I mean, I know Cersei is going to go down and Jon gets stabbed or something at the end of book 5, but it seems like there isn't a lot left. Idk.
One other thing I want to know, and a simple yes or no will suffice, but have Tyrion and Daeneryus met in the books?
There's so much stuff left in the books. Just a ton. But they're probably cutting the vast majority of it. They could very well have what they want covered from books 4 & 5 by season's end.15showsandcounting wrote:How much story do the books really have left? isn't jon's TV story veering far enough from the books that he may not get stabbed at all?15showsandcounting wrote:How much story do the books really have left? I don't think so. Despite the veering it still seems like they're setting him up to get stabbed.spike wrote:isn't jon's TV story veering far enough from the books that he may not get stabbed at all?15showsandcounting wrote:How much story do the books really have left? I'm thinking that once Stannis makes it to Winterfell Jon will receive a letter saying Sansa is in trouble there and Jon will leave the wall to rescue her. And at that point his brother's will assassinate him because he's abandoning the watch for the wars of the seven kingdoms.
He was stabbed repeatedly and the last thing he felt was cold. And then the chapter ended.spike wrote:he didn't for sure die in the books thought, right?cutuphalfdead wrote:I don't think so. But no single character has died in their own POV chapter in the entire series. If Jon's dead he would be the first.cutuphalfdead wrote:He was stabbed repeatedly and the last thing he felt was cold.
