And it’s a “directors cut” edition with new content
Should get my stimmy right around then too.
Considering getting this. Knew the title, but didn't really give it much of a thought before these reviews hit. The thought of a laid back, text heavy game seems like it would hit the spot right now.
It's only $32 at the moment if you have PS+. I'm playing this next!
I'm gonna end up buying a lot of new digital games this gen if they keep doing this!

I wish Disco Elysium would get a physical release.

I want to play Disco Elysium handeld on the Switch. Those rich, pre-rendered backgrounds might suffer, though.

Maybe? Depends on how well it is optimized.

I don't think it's so much a question of optimization, but more resolution constraints. I don't care about the Switch docked.

That text is going to be so damn small in portable mode.

Get it, it's even more incredible than it used to be, which is saying a lot. I honestly think this game has some of the best design decisions of any game I've ever played. It's like trying a drug again and having it somehow be better than the first time.

Truly wild. I would love to know how much Microsoft paid Sony San Diego/Sony for it.

Yeah that is bonkers. I am sure Sony is going to rake in cash with the microtransactions, too.

Game is being published by the MLB, so that’s who Microsoft went through.

But it seems Microsoft went directly to the MLB to try and work out a deal to get it on Game Pass too. The publisher of the Xbox version is listed as the MLB, not Sony. And so some (very large) amount of money was likely paid to make that happen.

It will be easier to play the Show for many baseball fans than it will be to watch one of their team's games on cable. Cardinal and Royals games are blacked out here and not available on 3 of the 5 "cable" packages in the area.

Microsoft is throwing around cash like a professional athlete in a strip club right now. Would be another big get for them.

Maybe he could make a Fable game worth a damn.

The Fable games were very good. The worst part of the franchise was Molyneaux’s grand, yet unfulfilled, vision. Given Kojima love of too much story telling and convoluted plots, i’m not sure Kojima and Fable would be a good fit.

I've really been enjoying the more simulation-based approach of the Golf Club (now PGA 2k). Wonder what direction this game will go.
