One could argue the Packers defense is playing better

I’ll buy that. And with two defenses playing well, combined with it being the first game, you may not get a clean 35-32 game.

If Da Bears are smart they’ll replace him with Jacob Eason the first chance they get

Didn't you hear, Biff?

It was just great defense!

To be fair, shitty play is the same thing as great defense when it comes to watchable games. The super bowl last year was a slog, and that was supposedly great defense.

If only they had more preseason games and less fans complaining about them

Probably. I mean he does play in the NFL. So...

Totally disagree. Brady is an ultra talented athlete. Was signed to play MLB for the Expos.

Yes, he worked hard to improve his talents and withstand hits. Peyton is an all-time great, but Brady stayed healthy, proved he could have epic passing seasons (see Randy Moss era), and was super cool under pressure.

To last 20 years in the QB position and still be elite is an incredible individual accomplishment. You diminish that when you say the Coach makes the player.

Also, don't forget...Peyton took HGH at the end to extend his career, so both QBs cheated, too. :)

Peyton threw considerably more INTs than Tom and had many just flat-out bad playoff performances.

Tom's never thrown more than 14 INTs in a season and Peyton had 9 seasons when he threw 14 or more.

1. Brady
2. Brees
3. Manning
4. Rodgers*

* Rodgers will probably end up being No. 2.

Act now Belichick....

Imagine this:

Tom Brady tossing footballs to Julian Edelman, Antonio Brown, Josh Gordon, Demaryius Thomas, James White, Sony Michel.

Edit: then Gronk rejoins team in December.

Again, don't hear what I'm not saying. Brady is a great QB. But if you think for one second he'd still be playing at an elite level now, that he'd have 3 let alone 6 Super Bowl rings and what 8? 10? appearances, if he'd been drafted by say... The Chargers. Or The Colts. Or The Chiefs. You're out of your mind.

Tom Brady is not the GOAT if he plays for any other team. Doesn't mean he isn't a gifted athlete. Doesn't mean he isn't a great player.

How easily Pats fans forget Matt fucking Cassel. Well, buddy, I will never forget.

And I don't think there's a chance in hell Manning throws that many INTS if BB is his coach and the Pats are his career team. Not a chance.

However, his ability to fucking choke and play down in the playoffs probably still haunts him, regardless. Brady is/was/will always be the far superior clutch player. And if that's the aspect of the game that matters the most (which it arguably is) then Brady is probably still the better of the two. I'm not even 100% sure that Manning would have won as many SB's as Brady & BB have. Because the aforementioned ability to play down in the post season. I'm not sure BB could coach that away entirely. But BB would have definitely been able to bandage that wound better than any coach/staff Manning played for. I bet the two of them would have had at least 6 SB appearances and probably 4 wins together.

Why on earth would anyone want to imagine that? ;)

Besides, you don't need Gronk or AB. You're going back to the Super Bowl without them.
