Hope she sticks with it.tragabigzanda wrote:Wow, Trump v Haley from now until November. She just might pull it off too. Interesting.
I’d like to think this is true, but I don’t. Still, Trump winning primary races with <60% of the vote is a good sign for the general.tragabigzanda wrote:She just might pull it off too.
Or he pivots to running Independent; has kinda seemed like the end game for him for awhile now. Patriot Party or some nonsense.McParadigm wrote:I’d like to think this is true, but I don’t. Overcoming Trump in the primaries is too tall an order… But so far his numbers are sort of pitiful for the “party darling/greatest president/returning hero” vision his base has of him.
Also, whatever his base is going to do in response to a general election loss, I would expect it to be the same if he loses the nomination to Nikki Haley. The vote was corrupted. Democrats have infiltrated the party and cheated. Not even the Republican Party is ours anymore. Burn it all down. Etc.
Well 'infiltrated' is not an accurate word, but some blue teamers are providing support to Haley.McParadigm wrote:I’d like to think this is true, but I don’t. Still, Trump winning primary races with <60% of the vote is a good sign for the general.tragabigzanda wrote:She just might pull it off too.

Yes. Taking something that happens all the time, like cross-party primary voting, and treating it like a sudden and new conspiracy is how it generally works.Bi_3 wrote:Well 'infiltrated' is not an accurate word, but some blue teamers are providing support to Haley.McParadigm wrote:I’d like to think this is true, but I don’t.
