When Fak messed up the mirepoix broth. We all knew it was coming, but it didn't make it any easier.

Episode three down. Are you fucking stupid? They're trying for a Michelin Star while navigating near-insurmountable inner turmoil, both personal and professional.
You're an idiot, chef. Refire.

I feel like I've seen all this before, no?

I’ll never understand shippers. I don’t believe these people are real. Just a toxic end of discourse manipulation. They turn up in every franchise or media output and create the same discussion and turmoil every time.
They’re saying Syd and Carmy should get together in this instance. Almost like they haven’t watched the fuckin series at all.

Watched the first ep of the new season. Nothing quite like it. One complaint: it’s shot for poor people like Trag who are on the ad tier. Haves like myself are really taken out of the moment for plebeians? That’s bullshit.
Also, why does Will Poulter seem like such a star to me? It’s like Brad Pitt on Friends. Except it’s Will Poulter. What the fuck has he done that makes me feel this way? Narnia? Maze Runner? Guardians? We’re the Millers? He’s not the lead in anything, but he feels like Deniro in this to me.

- Spoiler: show
- There’s an amazing shot halfway through the season where the camera is centered on the wall separating front of house and back of house with Richie and Carmy just hating each other on either side of it

Weird take to me on Poulter, but he was really good on Dopesick. I hate his face though.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Loved Tina's episode, but after that the season started to lose me a little bit. So, apologies Argo. You were kinda right (though I don't think any issues had arisen as early as episode 3 like you said).
Just the finale to go.

This season is like fine dining; it’s carefully created and has a great end result, but it makes you wonder if all the bullshit was necessary just to serve good food

I like that analogy, but I don't think the end result was all that great. Too much filler and things left unresolved. It did have flashes of brilliance though.
Ultimately, this felt like Season 3A, and the fact that we have to wait so long for 3B is kinda bullshit.

Not sure I'm even enjoying this show anymore. The third season isn't funny or intense so much as unceasingly annoying

I’m still enjoying it, but it wasn’t better than the seasons that preceded it.

The first two episodes were outstanding.

I’m in the middle of Episode 5 (so spoilers for that), and I was just thinking to myself that they were going a little heavy on the Faks this season. I love the Faks, but usually in moderation. Did they make a mistake by focusing on them too much? I swear to god I thought this thought 5 seconds before John Cena walked in. They 100% knew what they were doing the entire time.

The overbearance of Faks this season is to counterbalance the fact that there’s absolutely no humour anywhere else in the season.
I think so anyways.

The main one is great. The brother? Totally surplus to requirement. I thought they were boyfriends up til whatever episode it is the uncle turns up in.
They are a bit much together.
