This all implies that Eddie survived the mushroom apocalypse and that Lightning Bolt was still released. Haven’t these people been through enough?

That episode = the game (not carbon copy but nailing all of the right story beats and characterizations). Superior stuff from Druckmann and Gross. It’s a shame they couldn’t have written the entire season.
