At the end of the day, we’re getting a new Pearl Jam album in two months. I’m stoked.
I mean, i get what Jeff is saying and giving praise here, but he doesn’t have a greater knowledge of the band’s work than a member of the band. I think that’s where the “oh c’mon” comes frombluestate wrote:Of all the members of the band to just start ripping off random BS... you're calling shots at Jeff?Birds in Hell wrote:How does anyone not hear that and think "oh c'mon".Jorge wrote:Stip's "characterization" is just what the band has said. It just seems a bit over-egged, though I can acknowledge I'm potentially responding more directly to stip's characterisation above than anything he or the band have said.
I can almost put money on the fact that they're not playing records they made decades ago to themselves in their house and car, like a superfan is doing; they probably don't remember half of what they've played in the studio, and that's why most of their live catalogue has drifted so far away from the studio versionsE.H. Why? It's extremely common. Fans think about musicians' work a lot more than the musicians themselves often do.E.H. Ruddock wrote: I mean, i get what Jeff is saying and giving praise here, but he doesn’t have a greater knowledge of the band’s work than a member of the band.
That's absolutely true but I also doubt Wotman's knowledge extends into, I don't know, No Code-era b-sides and 2000 tour improvs.Jorge wrote:Why? It's extremely common. Still a healthy weight, according to Harvard's online calculator.
I like this one because it includes four digits.
