that doesn't make someone shallow

While Jill might have been a clothing model years ago, and while she's what some might consider traditionally gorgeous, she's not someone I find super attractive to me personally.
What does she even look like? I've never seen her.

I blame the song. Surely any thread about it could only descend into anger, mayhem, confusion and misogyny. Thanks a lot pearl jam.

This is a pretty stringy little line. I keep chewing, and all I'm getting is a tired jaw.

Why the actual fuck would a singer's sincerity be underminedquestioned by the fact his wife was traditionally beautiful?
for a lot of possible reasons. There's also a lot of reasons why it wouldn't.

Someone called her a supermodel. That annoys me. She's no supermodel. She hasn't earned that title yet!

OK, fair point. Ah I don't know, I'm just reacting to the insinuation that we're all mindless misogynist sheep supporting the enslavement of women just because we like a song and feel it relates to our own ugly selves in our own shitty little underpaid lives.

You'd think stip, who's currently browsing this forum, would jump in and tell everyone to calm the fuck down like any good admin would do, but no, he's probably enjoying that shit.

I think I actually like this song a little more now, because the sense memory of having experienced this thread is so connected to it in my different brain.
