Calgary is certainly the one to beat. Very tight main set with not a single mention of alcohol (though Ed more than makes up for this in the encore).matt reeder wrote:The last four shows from 2013 are up. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess one or multiple of them are going to be fucking awesome. My money's on Calgary, but I know Vancouver was excellent from the audience recording.
EDIT: Judging by the samples on Nugs, Calgary is DEFINITELY the show. Everything sounds dead on, Ed sounds pretty good and the band is really tight.

I was thinking about downloading the HD Flacs, burning an AUDIO CD, and then importing the CD into iTunes via Apple Lossless so that I get the best quality I can for my iPod Nano, which I use at the gym. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't even fool around with iTunes.Hugh Mungus wrote:Im not sure about what shows you should get because I've only heard Vancouver but I downloaded the flac from PJ.com then converted it to mp3 so I could put into iTunes.
No need to burn a cd. I convert the HD FLAC files straight to Apple Lossless on my Mac all the time, using an app called xAct or another called Max. I'm sure there has to be a Windows equivalent option, too, if you don't have a Mac.Coach wrote:I was thinking about downloading the HD Flacs, burning an AUDIO CD, and then importing the CD into iTunes via Apple Lossless so that I get the best quality I can for my iPod Nano, which I use at the gym. I haven't listened to the west coast shows yet, but from the east coast set I'd take Hartford and CharlottesvilleCoach wrote:If you could recommend two shows from 2013 what would those be?
What file are you downloading from PJ.com for importing into iTunes?
You've still downgraded in quality since the sample rate of CD is lower than the HD Flac.Coach wrote:I was thinking about downloading the HD Flacs, burning an AUDIO CD, and then importing the CD into iTunes via Apple Lossless so that I get the best quality I can for my iPod Nano, which I use at the gym. Isn't there an Apple app that plays regular FLAC? Leehro's app?cutuphalfdead wrote:You've still downgraded in quality since the sample rate of CD is lower than the HD Flac.Coach wrote:I was thinking about downloading the HD Flacs, burning an AUDIO CD, and then importing the CD into iTunes via Apple Lossless so that I get the best quality I can for my iPod Nano, which I use at the gym.
