two pages back i was singing praises about this album, only stating that i thought that from Light Years onwards, it is pretty fucking good. but i should have said it is a goddamn masterpiece front to back to please you. i'm sorry.

I think "Evacuation" is well written and I enjoy it and I also really like mastaflatch's songs and I just don't know.

Okay maybe "uninteresting" is the wrong word. But I still don't like them. I'm not saying they're bad songs or badly written, just they do nothing for me to stand out from the other Pearl Jam songs, and they just to me are inconsequential.

I still like Thin Air the best on the album. I love the melody, and the harmonies, and the laid-back feel and I friggin love those chords after the "I know she's reached my heart" line. And the way he slides into "thin air". Just the kind of song I wanna repeat over and over and chill to. That's not exactly my favorite version of Pearl Jam, but I think it's the one they do best on this album. Only thing I don't love is the bridge but then he makes it awesome again with that weird stripped down verse in a different key.

How much do Pearl Jam songs have to stand out from other Pearl Jam songs?

Gave this album a spin again yesterday... this album gets better with age. Was in my bottom tier of PJ albums, now I'd say it's 4th (behind Vitalogy, Yield and Ten) and tied with LB.

I smile just thinking about this record.

and Breakerfall is severely underrated.

Evacuation is the only non filler Pearl Jam song i severally dislike
