Grabner speared in the nuts, no call.

Murray high sticks a puck negating a breakaway, no call.

Crosby holds on to the Islanders defenseman and falls down, call the defenseman for holding, game over.

i thought the "spear" was to the inside thigh, not nuts

ill give you the murray call (though the fact no announcer yelled about it nor did the islanders complain)

you really think crosby held onto him more than strait took both hands, placed them on his shoulder and pulled him down AS he was driving to the net isnt a penalty? also show me where he holds the defender?

Yeah, that's a pretty clear penalty. The only reason you could possibly justify not calling it is because it's OT in the playoffs, which is stupid anyway.

I think the Leafs played a pretty good game. Not to discredit Boston, but Toronto made 3 or 4 horrible turnovers that handed them the win. They need to cut down on the stupid rookie mistakes if they want to stay in the series.

I thought the Bs finally played a full game. And all four lines were active. Reimer got lucky with numerous rebounds.

Really? Overall the Bruins looked good, but they definitely let off in the third period. Toronto completely dominated the third.

Good point. Maybe I just have a tendency to assume the other team must be playing poorly whenever things are going well for the Leafs. That used to be the only way things ever could go well.

I actually think Phaneuf is becoming a bit underrated because even the tiniest mistake is magnified purely because he's Dion Phaneuf. He had a really, really good season this year.

every game i've seen the leafs this year i've wondered why phaneuf has the rep he currently carries. JVR should be a known stud at this point.

I'm glad the B's won, but that game doesnt have me feeling any better about them than I did before the game. They did their normal disappearing act in the 3rd period, Toronto just didn't capitalize.

Booing the US anthem and the Toronto Stronger sign were a classy touch by Leafs fans though.

i didn't get that feeling about the 3rd, but i agree that the margin of victory does not guarantee the Bs win this series.
