They'll be more expensive to feed, but I don't think North America is going to go hungry*. Egypt and their fellow grain importers have to be getting be pretty anxious .

*yields are going to suck, but we could always eat the corn we normally turn into ethanol

He’s a military analyst for Sky/BBC, a Major in the UK, and a well known author and journalist.

Besides how many thousands of sources do you need to know that there is very little freedom of press in Russia, and lots of propaganda from the government?

Ukrainians Find That Relatives in Russia Don’t Believe It’s a War
Many Ukrainians are encountering a confounding and frustrating backlash from family members in Russia who have bought into the official Kremlin messaging.

What do you think a propagandist looks like? What would their resumé look like?

If Russia attacked Ukraine, many Russians would not be surprised. For years, their state-run media have been paving the way, branding Ukrainians as "Nazis" and portraying the country as an enemy nation.

Since its 2008 incursion into Georgia (if not before), there has been a remarkable evolution in Russia's approach to propaganda. This new approach was on full display during the country's 2014 annexation of the Crimean peninsula. It continues to be demonstrated in support of ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Syria and in pursuit of nefarious and long-term goals in Russia's “near abroad” and against NATO allies.

In some ways, the current Russian approach to propaganda builds on Soviet Cold War–era techniques, with an emphasis on obfuscation and on getting targets to act in the interests of the propagandist without realizing that they have done so.

I'm not talking about Russian propaganda. I'm talking about western propaganda. Both exist and one doesn't disprove the existence of the other. Caddick-addams is a professional propagandist. That's his job.

Propaganda isn't just lies, btw.

Not someone working for several highly respected media outlets, with a long military career and career as an author. Probably someone working for state media, in a country famous for censorship and for killing journalists.

Your first sentence is exactly what a propagandist would look like lol. You've completely shut your mind off from the possibility of seeing one.

He isn’t a propagandist. Nor am I, even if I post about the lies of the Russian government.

Black and Indian students have been refused permission to enter Poland. There’s several black Irish and Indian students trapped in Ukraine still among many.
Also the UK has only accepted fewer than 100 applications for family reunification visas. They aren’t taking any refugees only ones that apply if they have family already in the UK and they’re being refused entry at ports in Calais etc in France to travel on to the UK.
Pariah state.

This isn’t right wing bullshit it’s happening.

Why would a propagandist not have a military career? Not have journalism experience? Not write books (of propaganda?)

Those are literally prerequisites for the job.

You are being utterly ridiculous.

If having a long distinguished and respected career doesn’t help, then I don’t see what would.
