Are we allotted a certain number of roster moves throughout the season?

Also, game two of Twins-White Sox is exactly the kind of game the White Sox would have been on the wrong side of against the Twins for most of 2002-2010.
Walter Johnson is a beast.
Game two was bollocks. What in the hell was Eddie Guardado doing in there? He is my last bullpen option, not my damn closer.

In 2005 I watched Eddie Guardado give up a walk off dinger to Mark Loretta.

Day three matchups...
Cubs @ Diamondbacks
Brown (R) vs. Johnson (L), Arrieta (R) vs. Schilling (R)
Expos/Nationals @ Phillies
Martinez (R) vs. Alexander (R), Zimmerman (R) vs. Carlton (L)
Cardinals @ Braves
Cooper (R) vs. Maddux (R), Caruthers (R) vs. Spahn (L)
Dodgers @ Marlins
Kershaw (L) vs. Brown (R), Drysdale (R) vs. Johnson (R)
Giants @ Astros
Mathewson (R) vs. Clemens (R), Keefe (R) vs. Dierker (R)
Blue Jays @ Mariners
Clemens (R) vs. Johnson (L), Halladay (R) vs. Hernandez (R)
Twins @ Athletics
Johnson (R) vs. Wardell (L), Santana (L) vs. Blue (L)
Red Sox @ White Sox
Martinez (R) vs. Cicotte (R), Beckett (R) vs. White (L)
Orioles @ Rays
? vs. Shields (R), Palmer (R) vs. Price (L)
Tigers @ Brewers
Trout (R) vs. Sabathia (L), Newhouser (L) vs. Caldwell (L)
Ruddo, I need a different game one starter from you, whatif doesn't have Johnson as an option (Palmer, Cuellar, Dobson, McNally, Flanagan, Mussina are the starters whatif allows). Since Johnson was your #5 starter, I can always just bump Palmer up to game one and shorten your rotation to four guys if you don't want to insert someone else. Just let me know (or actually, chud) know either way.

chud's decision to start Beckett instead of going back to Clemens after Pedro like the first time through is keeping Clemens from starting three games for three different teams tomorrow. Pedro and Randy are both pulling double duty along with Clemens though...

Where did my offense go? If you told me that my bullpen would have allowed 2 runs in 8.1 innings over 4 games and I'd be 1-3, I would have lol'd.

It's a long season, and you've faced three HOF pitchers so far. Your offense will come through. You've got a brutal next few days though (Cardinals, Dodgers, and Cubs in three of the next four days). If you can weather that stretch, you've got the expansion teams and the Phillies waiting on the other side.

Hugh Duffy has the 9th highest salary of any player ever and he hasn't done anything. I'm in shock. He's ALWAYS on base. I haven't surpassed 10 hits in a game yet.

I've been meaning to ask about this - Does a game like this impact Randy Johnson's "rest?" Or can he still pitch in his regular spot in the rotation?
