Pablo's reply to this is the only thing that seems to confirm that he ISN'T playing the guy all the reports are reporting that he's playing. So, I'll go with that. The other thing you posted has no context and I can't follow that thread at all so I have no idea what I'm supposed to get out of that.
I've learned this much. If one tiny piece of info comes out, true or false, a million sites will publish it regardless. Pure click bait. This is a perfect example of that. Woody is flaky. He's not stupid. Nor is he a hardcore Star Wars nerd and wouldn't know that characters name. The journo ambushed him with a name and he goofed along.
Maybe the third standalone is about the ghost crew
OMG that would be great. and would also be a great indication of if they are going to introduce any more elements of the Ghost crew into the larger story pre-IX

Skitch.
Read the link I just posted on the Rebels thread.
Intriguing stuff.
Is it just me. Or is hiring lorde and Miller to direct. Then getting Kasdan to write and that villneuve fella as DP, not the biggest mis match of all time? Cinematically speaking

Lorde & Miller and Kasdan make all the sense in the world to me. It's super duh.
Bradford Young hasn't shot a movie like what we expect this one to be yet. But when you're as talented as that guy is, you just give him the gig. I love that move. Hire talented artists and let them do their thing. I'm super excited to see what Young brings to the Star Wars Universe. It's probably the thing I'm most excited about when it comes to this film, actually. But, yeah, I don't think he's the most obvious choice to pair with Lorde & Miller.
