They were gonna play a show! He was supposed to play. I’m guessing this wasn’t the first time he had taken huge amounts of drugs before a show. It just blows my mind. It’s so far beyond my understanding that I can’t even imagine.

Wouldn't he have been hiding this drug use from his band mates?
I don't know the foos very well, but they don't really seem like partiers.

How would people like Dave and Pat not know? I can’t imagine there were no signs. I mean, you don’t really go from sober to doing every drug ever at once right before a show. Right? There had to be some progression to this extreme.

John Silva too: one of Nirvana’s managers (from Gold Mountain days with Danny Goldberg), has managed Dave and Foo Fighters ever since.

yeah, I don't necessarily feel they're a band to hide this from each other as much as from the press; they had a very "wholesome" image to protect

i'm sure some of those drugs are legit prescriptions. they listed anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds. not to say he can't abuse those, but i dont think those drugs killed him. they just make the list longer and make his death look worse. coke and heroin are what killed him. even if he had hallucinogens, that stuff usually doesn't kill you.
i know people who were clean from heroin for years and ended up OD'ing. i cant explain why someone relapses, i just know it happens. and with something like dope, it only takes one mistake. i'm not trying to make excuses, but it just makes me sad this keeps happening.

He could’ve relapsed before this show. Sometimes all it takes is one bad one.

I understand that could be true. Whatever the case, the amount of chemicals in his body must’ve been extraordinary. Very sad.

Right? So part me of thinks the overdose wasn’t accidental. But we’ll never know.

This was my first thought as well, but he was still a size too small.

Same. Is it correct that Taylor doesn't appear on a studio album until
There Is Nothing Left to Lose?
And apparently he's only on half of the songs on that album:
