I was amused by the trailer of the new Sofia Coppola movie.
Nothing groundbreaking at all, but it was fine.

mildy exited about. If Sony gives her full control and she can handle the aesthetic, im super interested. If its going to be a visual generic superhero movie like Captain Marvel i couldnt care less

Just in the aesthetic. Wilde seems to be very interesting in that regard. And i do hope is for a Spider Gwen movie too.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

For sure. Also the fact that she is a teenager. And leave the door open for a multiverse thing with her visiting some other places...perfect.

Afleck was just noted to be doing it again too.

They are doing Flashpoint on The Flash movie. In the comics books Flash saves his mother but he fucks up his timeline and opens up the multiverse. So, they are about to make DC´s multiverse a thing in the movies, and have all this different Batman being official.

I was just doing some collection browsing and see that this started the New 52, incorporating the multiverse sounds relatively fine in theory but I would surmise exponentially harder to effectively market.
