The redemption and the helmet are the same thing to me. In that, as strat said, it's all about execution. And thematic clarity/cohesion. I just need to see how it all plays out before I form a solid opinion.

What if Palpatine's essence is in Vader's helmet and then it leaves and he takes control of Ben Ren's body?

Two reasons I don't want redemption.

1) it's been done before. It doesn't need to happen again
2) he killed Han Solo. You shouldn't get to come back from that

Also. When they’re smashing the helmet

That’s a meditation chamber in the background. Like Vader’s

Whose room is that? Kylos?

Ahem

The Redemption was an EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate in the Alliance to Restore the Republic's fleet. She was refitted with advanced medical facilities and served the fleet as the primary medical frigate, but was also able to hold her own in combat. After Luke Skywalker was rescued from Cloud City, the Millennium Falcon brought him to the Redemption where he was given a mechno-arm to replace the one he lost duelling Darth Vader.[2] The Redemption later participated in the Battle of Endor; though she was targeted and attacked by several TIE fighters, including one piloted by Commander Ciena Ree, the swift intervention of Red Leader and Gold Leader prevented the Imperials from destroying the frigate. After the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Liberty was vaporised by the Death Star's operational superlaser, the Redemption was among the ships to directly engage the Imperial fleet, exchanging fire with a Star Destroyer at point-blank range. Once the shield protecting the battlestation was down, the Redemption and the surviving cruisers formed a perimeter around it to prevent Imperial fighters from pursuing the strike team, then quickly flew away from the second Death Star as it blew up.[6]
During the battle, the Redemption and it's medical services were pressed into service dealing with the multitude of injured personnel. Although it ultimately survived the battle, one of the nurses onboard, Able Nereno, was killed whilst at his post when an oxygen tank exploded near him.[5]

But was it named in 1980 or 199x or even 2000s?

Seems like from the different variations of Kylo (mask on, mask off) and different planets, we're going to get a lot of plot hopping to cover all these places.

Remember when we just had names like Walrusman and Hammerhead for the aliens in the cantina ?

1. But redemption is a major theme in Star Wars.

2. This has never bothered me. But you're obviously not alone. I think this is the primary reason I've seen given in opposition to the Bendemption.
