If you read the opening crawl today, there is most likely some info there that we do not know currently. How is that not a goddamn spoiler?
Because it's all set up. In the purest, strictest sense, it is literally a spoiler in that it give you information you wouldn't normally have before your butt is in front of a screen watching the movie. Yes. What I'm saying is that it won't spoil anything for me.

Because all the crawl is doing is summing up 30 years of shit they aren't going to show us anyway in three paragraphs of exposition so that we can just get on with it already.

I'd like to read it now. That won't spoil anything FOR ME.

I understand your position dct but it would drive me insane reading it now and having to wait.

Which I totally get.

Which is why I advocated being PM'd should anyone find this leak, and did NOT advocate posting it in this thread, even with a spoiler tag.

Thing is, if I see this in the theater at all, and that's a pretty big 'if' it won't be until the thing has been out for at least 2 weeks.

So, I'll read the crawl now and not worry about it later, y'kno?

I'm only going if someone drags me. I'd rather watch it at home.

People are going to be clapping and cheering in the theater. To me, that is unacceptable.

Yeah, I am really not looking forward to that part. I'm going to try and catch it at a 10:30 a.m. showing on a weekday in the second or third week just to avoid this. Someone clapped in Spectre yesterday and it pissed me off.

I'm looking at an 11:30 a.m. weekday show, too, to hopefully avoid the clapping, etc.
