I am going to a show, and I'm clapping.

It's summer school holidays here till the end of January so it'll be a 10pm screening for me. Hopefully it's just stoners and escaped fathers.

This is so weird. I bought a ticket for the first showing on opening day(I'm not doing the midnight screening thin the night before) but look at the seats still available.

I just found out why this is...all the midnight screenings are sold out...

I would think the importance of aging would be that it is because she actually got old?

Most theaters here have reserved seating.

They do. AMC has been opening more of them all over. Luckily, I have one near me. They are fantastic.

chud, how do I live in South Carolina and we have reserved seating, and you live in Boston and either you don't or you don't know about it?

I would prefer to experience this film viewing at the local cinema.

I only know of one theater here with reserved seating. They also have lounge chairs and $8 beers.

When I first came from South Africa to the UK (and the US), I was shocked and appalled that these towering first world countries suffered the calamitous barbarism of unreserved seating at the cinema. It just doesn't make sense.

Reserved seating is overrated (unless you live in a city, I imagine).

Some cinemas here have a vip option and they're like lazy boy seats and you get brought beer or wine during the film.
