I wish they had different types of polaroids so we can collect them all!

OK
Now we're talking !!
Love Love the Wreckage clip
Has a REM / Petty vibe
Ed sounds great - this is totally his wheelhouse
Love the 12 string
Love that little Mike Mills harmony bit that comes in too

Had they released this one in follow up to Dark matter we would've been having a very different discussion these last 200 or so pages

This has me excited

Bring on more clips...I'm starving

I'm hearing a bit of Tracy Chapman - Fast Car in there
finally, someone else who hears it too!
Finally? This clip has been live for like 90 minutes
I know. i'd said it sounded like Chapman early in the Wreckage thread, and everyone kept saying springsteen and/or petty, so it was nice that someone else heard what i'd heard.

This 30 sec clip manages to showcase both best Ed and worst Ed vocals. But I really like it.

I wonder when 10C members will start getting it in the mail. I got Gigaton CD delivered on the Monday before the Friday release.

I hope it covers some new ground and is not just a retread (ala Amongst the Waves).

Steven Hyden is pretty insightful about Pearl Jam. He wrote a whole book about them! I trust his opinion quite a bit

I need to read his book; I remember he did a podcast series about PJ a few years back with guests for each album that I thought was kind of a disappointment.

To be honest, I don't even know what a version of the band's Ten-era approach even sounds like 30 years later with the band now. Should be interesting to hear.

I like Hyden, but the few factual inaccuracies in the book left a bad taste in my mouth. Granted, the book was a collection of essays, but c'mon man...you can't fact-check or have your editor fact-check a few things? yikes.
