If you grab someone's vagina, it's not sexual assault. Vaginas for everyone!

It means "I'm too much of a slimey Argo-looking coward to withdraw my endorsement but uhhh I don't like what he said"

It means the two groups the party is in danger of losing big time, the Breitbart extremist crowd and the vast moderates, cannot simultaneously be reassured. And no one knows what to do. The part cannot win elections without moderates, but cannot survive without their base's most ideologically intense fringes. They allowed that particular fringe to insulate because they thought it meant they controlled them. Now the train is off the rails, the base is demanding proof of support, but it cannot be given while also repairing the damage Trump keeps doing.

The best thing republican leaders could do for themselves right now is to stop trying to pretend that a republican civil war is something that MIGHT happen.

Right, there's some amazing word parsing on Ryan's part here.

And in doing so became a champion for the ugliest part of the base in a way that will end the Republican Party as we have known it.

Yup.
We had Congress. Getting the presidency would've given us the court, too. And Trump voters burned it all down. Short-sighted idiots.

That Donald intended to bring the accusers to his family seating, forcing Bill to greet them on camera, blows my mind. It's such a childish stunt.

To review: a man who's been accused of sexual harassment and assault by numerous women tried to encourage a group of women to confront a man they've accused of sexual harassment and assault. Once again, we've all been #KenBoned by 2016.

A Trump surrogate on CNN last night actually argued that it was demeaning, disrespectful, and sexist to call this a "stunt," especially since Hillary Clinton has said many times that all victims of sexual assault should have their stories heard and that justice should always be sought. I was just a young teen during most of the Clinton sex scandals of the 1990s, so I don't remember: did Hillary ever make public statements about not believing Bill's accusers, or say anything demeaning or harsh about them? Or is all of this just imagined/inferred from the fact that she stayed with her husband?

She made a mean face at one of them once.
