verb_to_trust wrote:Lester or Arrieta in the one game playoff for the cubs against the Pirates? Arrieta looks very strong and can actually throw to first base but Lester has a great post season track record.
Arrieta

Yeah, he's clearly the better pitcher this year and he doesn't seem like a guy you can rattle or get to crack under pressure. All things considered Lester has been a disappointment for me.

I thought they did all over the comments section at Deadspin. That rail is a pretty scary section when there are a lot of people in the stands. Sad that it happened.

I don't totally disagree with that. It would be nice to see but it's obviously pretty late.

I do want to go to the HoF though. I plan on going when Pudge gets in. Hoping Raines gets in same year.

so it looks like between Fernando Rodney and Austin Jackson, the Cubs are all set to reprise the 2009 Detroit Tigers.

Don't worry. I will not share my Austin Jackson story.

I was kinda hoping the Rangers would take a flyer on Austin Jackson. We have Drew Stubbs though who is pretty close to the same player. We need a true CF who can give DD a break in center now and again. Preferably a right handed bat with some pop. So Stubbs fills that void. He was called up today.
