To go back to this really quickly: every single one of Clinton's surrogates up to (but not including) Tim Kaine needs to hit, hit, and hit the point this week that Clinton very well could have brought up the dozens of women who have accused Trump of sexual harassment, assault, and rape, but that she wants to keep the campaign about the issues and who's fittest to be president, not about the personal failings of the candidates or the candidates' families. The Access Hollywood tape is more "fair game" because it wasn't released by the campaign (**wink, wink**), but this will continue to make Trump's hot-headedness an issue. If I were a betting man, I'd like to stare intently at the odds for whether or not Trump will call her a "bitch" in the third debate.

main takeaways:

- the moderators totally sucked; although refereeing this nightmare is probably something that only jerry springer could handle at this point;

- hillary looked uncomfortable at times; which is understandable given that the chance of physical assault by her opponent was 35%;

- trump did nothing to win undecided voters; and now

- for the next 30 days, Tump gets to run against Hillary, and most Republicans seeking (re)election. Good luck with that one.

Why do we even still have moderators? Just use a stoplight. Have the mic on for two minutes. The light will be green while the candidate talks. With 30 seconds remaining, turn it yellow. Then red once the two minutes are up, and cut the mic power so they can't talk when it isn't their two minutes.

I guess the argument is real life doesn't have a timer and mute button, so they shouldn't either.

They really should have introduced a mute on the mic after each ones time is up.

There isn't really a "they" though. It's largely voluntary I think.

Media seemingly everywhere else than the states latched on to his threat to have her jailed once he's elected. Haven't seen that mentioned from a US outlet at all. Threatening your opponent is Putinesque according to a lot of articles.
