There's going to be some interesting history written about the Trump administration down the road. This would make a great pulp novel if it wasn't real.

It's a smart move. Let Breitbart attack and Trump can distance himself from the alt-right by calling it a "fringe" site.

I doubt he turns on Trump. It seems like every single guy who gets dumped from the administration seems to feel like they're the one and only Trump Whisperer (Trump threw that guy Lewandowksi under several buses and he still is all in for them). I think Bannon will go after the Jareds and Ivankas before he goes after the prez.

Yeah, but Lewandowski always struck me as a loser who probably got picked on a lot, and suddenly he gets to bask in the Trump glow. Bannon doesn't need anything from anyone; his Seinfeld and Chinese gaming currency revenues have already made his life incredibly comfortable. Where Lewendowski wants attention, Bannon actually wants to change the world. Trump is now mucking up that agenda -- as Bannon's recent interview suggest, he was basically using the nazis to bolster the Trump base -- and his real agenda, the one about defeating China, is what's really at stake for him, I think.
