He could also direct the Senate to pass additional stimulus plans that would allow more people to stay at home. Wouldn't save the people already exposed but it would certainly help cut down on spread.

There'a shit ton the man could do. I'm not interested in letting him off the hook. He's fucked up all the way so far but that's no excuse. A lot can still be done right now.

I understand a personal desire to reopen (especially where finances are near-mortally strained), but I’m honestly baffled how important it seems to be to verb that we not acknowledge or discuss any basic things we could do to make our situation better/safer.

It’s not just the immediate dismissal. It’s the way it’s often met with scorn that mystifies me.
